Winner of the logo contest for the Regional James Bay Administration

In March 2014, the Regional James-Bay Administration launched a regional contest to create its new logo reflecting the organization's vision for development.

After receiving and reviewing several proposals, the administrative board chose the logo proposed by Mrs. Stéfanie Thompson, which reflects the organization's vision

The logo selected contains the four constituent values of the Jamesian vision. There are three spruce trees hanging from a roof, the whole half crowned with an aurora borealis on its right side. The spruce trees side by side, drawn in gradation according to their size and their vigor, express the notion of development. They support a roof sketching of a house and symbolizing the idea of inhabiting the area. The whole is lit by a green aurora borealis that protects and illuminates our home. The aurora borealis also refers to Nordicity as a distinctive condition of life in Jamesia and unites the members of its community.
